Intro: What is 'Cisco Sales Associates Program'? (ENG)

My jorney of becoming a CSAPer (Cisco Sales Associates Program, in short CSAP), Seoul hub, started in May 2019.

 

For the next few posts, I want to share basic information of CSAP, how I prepared for the interview and my onboarding experience.

(Along the way, I will also share my experience as a CSAPer throughout the year so stay tuned!)

 

● What is Cisco Sales Assocaites Program? 

 

For those who don't know/have never heard about Cisco, the company or CSAP, the program,

Cisco systems is a tech giant based in San Jose, California, in the center of Silicon Valley and mainly provides networking software / hardware and other high-tech services and products.

 

 

 

CSAP FY21

 

 

Every year, Cisco hires new graduates from around the world who wish to develop their career in tech industry starting as a Cisco Sales Account Manager and System Enigneer.

 

To use Cisco's words, CSAP is a 'one year program that combines instructor-led classes with self-paced trainings and hands-on experience. All the trainings are delivered in virtual classrooms using Cisco's cutting-edge technologies. You will have a personal mentor and a dedicated team to support you in reaching your full potential.'

After a year of training, CSAPers graduate the program and move on to their next journey with a new job title 'Virtual Global Account Manager/Engineer'.

 

CSAP is actually an award-winning fast-track program that has already been recognized as one of the most prominent training programs for new graduates.
